Share your word-game results without spoiling the puzzle

Use Scramdle’s Share results button, understand the Grid squares and score summary, and reopen a finished daily game to share it without revealing the answers.

Scramdle · Published

Start with Share results on the finished game

When you finish a Scramdle game, tap Share results on the results screen. It prepares a text summary without the answer words. Grid adds a pattern of colored squares; Daily Scramdle and the other scramble modes share your solved-word count and points.

If your device or browser offers a share menu, choose where you want the message to go and review it before sending. If the browser uses the clipboard fallback, Scramdle shows “Results copied. Paste them anywhere to share.” Open your chat or post, paste the text and send it yourself.

You can share a finished game even if you did not solve every word. Sharing is optional, and Continue lets you leave the results screen.

What your friends will see

The message identifies the game and date, then shows the result and a link to the site you played on. On scramdle.com, that link is https://scramdle.com. It opens the homepage, so tell your friend which mode to choose. It is not a link to your saved board or a battle invitation.

Read a Grid share without seeing the letters

Here is an invented Grid Classic result to show the format. The date and result are examples, not today’s puzzle or a real player’s record.

The 2/6 line means the puzzle was solved on the second accepted guess. Each row has one square per letter: five in Classic, seven in Advanced and nine in Expert. Green represents a correctly placed letter, yellow represents a gold clue on the board, and black represents a gray clue.

A completed Grid that was not solved shows X/6 instead of a winning guess count. The squares describe the feedback without printing the letters. You can compare the shape of two attempts while leaving the solution hidden.

Daily results share the score, not the word list

A Daily Scramdle summary is shorter. This invented example reports twelve solved words and 1,650 points without listing any of the fifteen puzzles. It does not show which words were skipped or how individual words earned their points.

For a fair comparison, check that you played the same mode and date. A Daily points total and a Grid guess count measure different things. If you want to understand a Daily score, the points and hints guide explains the calculation.

Reopen your result without replaying the daily game

If you leave the results screen, return to the same daily mode using the same player account or guest browser. Once the game is complete, its entry button says View your results. Open it and tap Share results again.

This reopens your saved attempt. Daily Scramdle, Time Attack and each Grid length allow one attempt per date; sharing, leaving the results screen or changing Grid Hard mode does not create another attempt. Daily puzzles reset at midnight Eastern, so compare the date in the message when friends play at different times.

Practice and battles can be played again. To arrange a live match, use the friend-battle invitation flow; posting a score summary does not invite someone into a room.

Keep answers out of the conversation too

Use the prepared text when friends have not played yet. A screenshot of a completed Grid shows the guessed letters, and Review your words can reveal scramble answers. Avoid adding either of those screenshots to a spoiler-free result.

You can add a comment such as “Finished today’s Classic—your turn!” without naming a word, describing its meaning or revealing its first letter. If you want to discuss solutions, wait until everyone in that conversation has finished.

When no share menu appears, look for the copied-results notice and paste into your chosen destination. Cancelling a browser share menu leaves the saved result available to share again. If the browser reports an error, return to the finished result and try Share results again; you do not need a fresh daily attempt.

For a first result to share, start with Daily Scramdle or the five-letter Grid Classic. The rules page explains each mode before you begin.

Finish your daily run, then share the summary with a friend. Play Daily Scramdle
